  • Environmental Impact Assessment

    Environmental Impact Assessment means the process and procedure for evaluating and predicting the likely environmental impact of a proposed activity. The process itself involves assessing the potential effects of planned developmental activities; to determine and provide mitigation measures for such activities as may have a significant adverse impact on the environment; putting in place a monitoring process and evaluation of the environmental impacts of implemented activities and to provide for matters incidental to the foregoing (Environmental Assessment Act, No 10 of 2011).
